Brandon University
Located in the City of Brandon, Manitoba, Brandon
University (BU) offers undergraduate programming
in arts, science, education and music, and graduate
programs in education, music and rural development.
Recent additions to undergraduate programming
include an applied disaster and emergency studies
program leading to a major in arts or sciences, and the
availability of four-year majors, minors and an honours
degree in rural and community studies.
BU seeks to become the choice for all students
who seek access to a personalized, quality education.
Small classrooms, personalized instruction and low
student-professor ratios enable students to gain the
maximum benefit from the expertise of BU's teachers.
Additionally, students have access to an extensive
range of services, including guaranteed accommodation
for out-of-town first-year students, counseling services,
and services for students with disabilities, Aboriginal
students, mature students, and a subsidized on-campus
day care and junior kindergarten.

University of Manitoba
The University of Manitoba is the province's
flagship university and the only medical-doctoral
institution in the region. A wide array of study

Since 1902, the University of Manitoba has
produced 87 Rhodes Scholars and its law students
have won the prestigious Sopinka Cup
National Moot Trial Competition three times in

The University of Manitoba is home to an
internationally-acclaimed HIV/AIDS research
